Recipes

1. Brigid’s Blessing Cocktail

  • Ingredients:
    • 2 oz Irish Whiskey
    • 1 oz Lemon Juice
    • 1 oz Brigid Rhubarb & Ginger Maple Syrup™
    • Club Soda
    • Ice
    • Lemon Twist for garnish
  • Instructions:
    1. In a shaker, combine Irish whiskey, lemon juice, and Brigid syrup.
    2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake until well chilled.
    3. Strain into an ice-filled glass and top with club soda.
    4. Garnish with a lemon twist to add a citrusy flair.

2. Rhubarb Ginger Pancakes

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
    • 1 tbsp Sugar
    • 2 tsp Baking Powder
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1 cup Milk
    • 1 Egg
    • 2 tbsp Melted Butter
    • Brigid Rhubarb & Ginger Maple Syrup™ for serving
  • Instructions:
    1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
    2. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
    3. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry until just combined.
    4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease lightly.
    5. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake, cook until bubbles form, flip, and cook until golden.

3. Celtic Fire Glazed Salmon

  • Ingredients:
    • 4 Salmon Fillets
    • Salt and Pepper to taste
    • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
    • 1/4 cup Brigid Rhubarb & Ginger Maple Syrup™
    • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
    • 1 Garlic Clove, minced
  • Instructions:
    1. Season salmon with salt and pepper.
    2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high, add salmon, skin side down, cook until crispy.
    3. Flip salmon and cook until nearly done.
    4. Mix Brigid syrup, soy sauce, and garlic. Pour over salmon in the last few minutes of cooking.
    5. Serve the salmon with the glaze, garnished with fresh herbs.

4. Springtime Rhubarb Oatmeal

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 cup Rolled Oats
    • 2 cups Water or Milk
    • 1 pinch Salt
    • Brigid Rhubarb & Ginger Maple Syrup™ to taste
    • Chopped Rhubarb and Sliced Almonds for topping
  • Instructions:
    1. Bring water or milk to a boil, stir in oats and salt.
    2. Reduce heat and simmer until oats are soft.

More amazing than expected

To be honest I wasn't sure what to think when I saw Brigid show up on my IG. Being from an area where rhubarb grows well, and using it a lot, my hopes were very high. Ben did NOT disappoint! You can very clearly taste the rhubarb, the ginger helps keep the crisp flavor of the rhubarb. Brigid and Posiden are tied for my #1 WytchWood syrups. Ben is a genius at his craft and I am only too happy to keep trying all of his syrups until I've had them all.

This syrup is very big on ginger flavor. Unfortunately, I couldn’t taste the rhubarb at all. Still very good, but wish there were more rhubarb flavor.
