We introduce to you our Maine Cranberry flavor as the Celtic Goddess of Death and Battle - The Morrigan!
The Morrigan was predominantly a Goddess of War and Death, the fearsome Phantom Queen! She was also the Goddess of Prophecy and Fate, and saw the future of all things, including the end of the world. She was all-knowing, and would share her knowledge of the future for a price. Her prophecies were always true and her wordings were exact, if somewhat of a riddle. She was an aspect of Royalty and Warriors and like the Raven, the Morrigan can always be found present on the battlefield. She is known to cause fear and confusion among soldiers to move the tide of battle to her favoured side.
As a shapeshifter who took many guises; she would often appear in multiple forms throughout a story. Most common of these forms - were a shapely maiden, a battle ready warrior-queen, an old crone, and, of course, a raven. While she could take the form of other animals beyond a raven, the Morrigan did so less frequently.
Her appearances at the deaths of prominent figures have caused scholars to link her to spirits appearing later in Irish folklore, such as the Banshee, or “fairy woman.”
One of the most prominent aspects of the Morrígan was her nature as a triple goddess of war. In many stories, she appeared as both an individual and as three goddesses acting under a single name.
It is without doubt that the Morrigan is one of the most powerful female figures in history and the fiercest Goddess is Celtic myth. Use this dark red syrup in ritual as a libation where aggression, force and crushing victory is needed. It can also be offered to shift ones shape, for shadow work or powerful sex magic.

WytchWood syrup starts with the sap from maple trees grown in central Vermont. The sap is then boiled in the Spring and infused to create a delicious Cranberry Maple Syrup. Each bottle is hand wax-sealed, blessed and unlike anything you have ever experienced. Each and every bottle is represented by a God, Goddess, Pagan Sabbath or Folklore Icon. They are designed as libations but can be used for anything Kitchen Witch related as well.
She or they have been heroines for a long time so I was delighted to try this. The sweet & tart blend beautifully. I like it over pancakes or ice cream, a drop in my coffee or whatever connections I’m drinking Fri or Sat nights 🔥
The bottle was super nice and loved the witch aesthetic makes it fun for other witches to buy. Syrup was good
I bought five, my silly me, I already gave two as gifts, and we're halfway through the third. I don't want anything else on my waffles or pancakes, and I want to experiment with mixed drinks, and using it for baking. I miiiiiight need more soon.
Little too tart. Cranberry dominated the syrup too much. Used it for pork. Good not great
This is my favorite Wytchwood syrup. It’s simultaneously sweet and tart and adds a unique taste to goat cheese and brie.
I have tried this on everything that is sweet for brunch to savory dinner items. From pancakes, to waffles, to french toast to chicken to potstickers to meatballs. This is a versatile little syrup that really is magickal. I love it!
